Hotter days; shorter runs

Petunia and Daffy are still really energetic... the same. But they need their pack leader *HINT*

The days are so warm, Daffy and Petunia's runs are shortening. So today I took them to a stream.

Petunia: Hi Alice! Hope the dog training is going well! Remember - you trained me - and that was a big achievement!
Daffy: Alice? Where?

Anyway, it was so hot, I took them for a swim at the stream.. I planned to let one of them off and then the other, because I didn't want the two of them to get in trouble. But Petunia didn't behave so well, did you Petun? You ran off - trying to play games?

Anyway, next time I'll take extendable leashes / yummy treats if I plan to let them swim... :P

So Petunia, any thoughts?
Petunia: I'm sorry ah, okay...

Hello; This is especially for Alice, but also for everyone to indulge in their antics!

So, as you know, ALICE IS LEAVING HONG KONG TO do a prestigious and intensive SPCA dog training course in San Francisco for around two to three months, which is longer than the usual holiday and a very long time to not see these two! She's a bit like Daffy and Petunia's mother, and they will definitely not forget her. But since she can't see them in person, here's just keeping her up to date with what's going on with them. They'll miss her a lot because theyreally look forward to her coming every week, so it will be sad, but then that's life, and they'll be over the moon to see her back at the kennels, with better training techniques too, and these months will honestly SWEEP by! 

Take it from me. I'm a student, and at the end of each week, I'm shocked it goes by so quickly. This will only be about 8 to 12  weeks, so, only 8-12 shocks in total at the end of every week, eh? Time flies so don't worry, don't be sad, Daffy & Petunia will be back with you in no time and happy to see you! So just enjoy your holiday and know that they're being cared for.

OK, now, who's Daffy and Petunia you might ask? If you're an HKDR volunteer and don't know... shame on you! (Daffy is short for Daffodil)

They are the two flower-power-sisters... well, let them introduce themselves.

Hello, my name's Daffy. I'm the dog on the left who looks very intelligent, has a pinkish snout, golden-green eyes and cream fur.

And I'm Petunia. I'm on the right smiling for no reason at all! 

My sister is very funny ar...

We love eating... Alice prepares us the best meals and desserts - greenies - and sees us usually twice a week.

She also takes us for long walks where we are let free and allowed to run and fly, but we always go back to her. 

I am very well behaved.

I pull on the leash quite a bit.

Here, I am eating. I love eating... I'll do anything if you give me food!!!

Really, Petunia? ANYTHING?

Yep.

OK, I have two treats in my pocket. (thinking: I don't actually have a pocket)

Really?! OMG... what do you want me to do?!

I want you to let me eat all of your food.

Okay it's a deal!! Now, can I have the treat treat?

Yeah, sure. It's your food now. Oh wait, but I'm allowed to eat all of your food. So now  this treat is mine. *chew chew* Haha 

It's me again, Anna. I might have very slightly misrepresented Petunia there. They are both VERY smart girls really, well-trained to sit, lay down, etc. And they are SO cute!

Me again, Daffy. I'll miss you Alice, but I want you to have a good trip!
